9.6. LCG Regional tournament (War of the Five Kings) DETAILS ADDED

Konečně se blíží vrchol sezóny - mistrovství republiky a zároveň regionální turnaj. Turnaj se bude konat v sobotu 9.6. v Praze a bude ho jako obvykle hostit herní klub Outpost. Začátek turnaje je stanoven na 10:00.

Hlavní cenou na turnaji bude regionální kit od FFG, výrobce hry. Dále přidám ještě nějaké zajímavé ceny a pokud se mi zadaří, tak bude akci nějakými cenami dotovat i HBO. Vstupné na tento domácí vrchol sezóny bude 100,-Kč.

Těším se na vás a doufám, že vás dorazí, co nejvíce. Zdá se, že budeme také poctěni zahraniční účastí. Jinak jsou na turnaji srdečně vítáni i případní nováčci či snad jen zájemci o omrknutí hry.

10:00 – 10:30 bude probíhat registrace.

Podle počtu hráčů bude turnaj na 5 nebo na 6 základních kol. Do eliminací postoupí s největší pravděpodobností TOP 8 nejlepších hráčů.

Pro turnaj není decklistová povinnost.

Valar Morghulis CP není legální pro Regionál, jak již bylo řečeno.

Důvody, které mě k tomu vedou jsou v podstatě dva. První jsem tu již uvedl - v této sérii CP se objevuje (staro)nová mechanika "charakter-agend", které budou podle mého názoru mít docela slušný vliv na meta a podobu balíků a není důvod s tím spěchat. Je třeba nechat čas otestovat ideální nastavení, ať už pro přiznivce "char-agend" či pro Ty, kteří budou muset najít co nejektivnější cesty, jak jim čelit.

S tím souvisí i druhý důvod a to je pravidlo tzv. 14 denního moratoria před turnajem, které ctím. Jinými slovy - legalita určující podobu turnajových balíků se již v tomto moratoriu nemění. FFG svou změnu vyhlásilo v zásadě méně než 10 dní před turnajem samotným (v našem případě) a tak mi to přijde jako krajně rozumné řešení už legalitu neměnit i z tohoto důvodu.

Pár detailů, které je třeba vyjasnit:

Free Man má pro účely našeho turnaje trait WILDLING (typo je ignorováno - narozdíl od Cotter Pyke není tento překlep ještě adresován ve FAQ).

Snakeskin Veil má pro naše účely v textu „Sand Snake character only“ (stejně jako výše)

Pro naše účely to prozatím tak jako předtím, než bude vydáno oficiální (printed) stanovisko FFG, které by pravilo jinak - tedy:

1. Blankovací efekt Meery nelze uplatnit na Red Vipera, protože v okamžiku spuštění "then" efektu se již Meera nachází na stole a tedy tento "then" efekt už není "card efekt" (jako v případě jejího vyjetí ze shadows) nýbrž "character ability effect".

2. Modifikovaný win se uplatňuje bez ohledu na počet zbývajících "chains" tj. je-li i nenulový.

Na turnaji budou 2 rozhodčí. Jedním budu já a druhým Helmut z mnichovské meta, ať jsme zcela nestranní.

Welcome to the Czech Regional event a Game of Thrones LCG. Tournament will be held on 9th June in Prague (Outpost) and is scheduled to start at 10 AM. The official main event to be held will be in Joust format.

There will be FFG regional kit as a prize (of course) but also some other nice prize stuff and if the Old Gods give us a favour I will be able to have the event sponsored by HBO.

Here are some final details addendum:

10:00 - 10:30 registration will be held

The number of preliminary rounds will be decided on the spot according the number of players (basically 5 or 6 preliminary rounds). The elimination cut after Swiss will be most probably TOP8 of best players.

First round will be paired according to our internal ranking and all players not participated in our internal metas ranking will be considered unassigned for the sake of pairing and therefore paired randomly with the best players of the ranking.

Decklist is NOT required.

Valar Morghulis CP is NOT legal for this tournament as already mentioned. 

The reason for that decision is in truth twofold:

1. I consider the new (not-so-new for CCG players but it doesn't matter in this case) "character-agenda" mechanic to be with considerable and profound impact onto the metas and deck-building stategy for both players of the new agendas and also the ones who will have to find an efficient solution to oppose these agendas and just adjust the strategies accordingly. It is not necessary to be too hastily with that.
2. My customary approach is to honor the so-called 14-days moratorium onto legality ere tournament. These 14 days are in my opinion and in my book some kind of "sacred-time" with no sudden possibility for changes in the legality manner. There should be no changes at all.

And here is a couple of details that needs to be clarified will be regarded as follows (ere the FFG released the official/printed clarification which could say otherwise).

Free Man is considered to have the correct WILDLING trait (Typo is ignored - this typo is not yet addressed in FAQ in contrary of Cotter Pyke)

Snakeskin Veil is considered to have in its text "Sand Snake character only" (same reason as above)

1. Blanking effect of Meera Reed cannot be applied to the RED VIPER (PotS) cos at the very moment of triggering "then" effect is Meera already on the table and therefore this "then" effect is no longer to be considered "card effect" (like in the case of hers leaving of shadow) but instead it is "character ability effect".

2. Modified win is considered to applied according standard rules regardless of the number of remaining "chains" on the Maester agenda - even if it is nonzero.

There will be 2 judges for the tournament. One of them will be myself and the second judge will Helmut from Munich meta in order to have the flawless objectivity.
